Brad has led the Perivascular Research Group at the University of Tasmania (Australia) since 2016 after completing his PhD at the University of Otago (New Zealand) followed by a post-doc at the University of Oxford (UK). His lab uses in vitro and in vivo approaches to understand the cellular mechanisms regulating cerebral blood flow and blood-brain barrier function, and their dysfunction in brain diseases such as stroke, dementia and multiple sclerosis.
