Hilal Al Shamsi is a distinguished professional with a robust background in medical and health sciences. A graduate of Sultan Qaboos University, Hilal pursued further specialization by obtaining a master's degree in epidemiology and biostatistics from Curtin University. Currently, Hilal is advancing his academic journey by pursuing a PhD in neuroscience at Edith Cowan University. With a career spanning over 16 years in the Ministry of Health, Hilal initially served as the Head of Health Information and Studies for three years. Subsequently, he held the pivotal role of Director of Planning and Research for 13 years, contributing significantly to the advancement of healthcare research and strategic planning in Oman. His extensive experience and academic prowess make him a valuable asset to the field of public health and epidemiology.
