Hi, I'm Luke. As an emerging neuroscientist, I am passionate about understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying Alzheimer's disease (AD). I recently completed my PhD at the University of New South Wales, where my research revealed a novel connection between inflammatory signalling, ADAR2-mediated RNA editing, and dendritic spine loss in AD. My work has been published in renowned journals such as Frontiers in Molecular Neuroscience and Molecular Neurodegeneration. Currently, I'm a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at St Vincent's Centre for Applied Medical Research, where I'm expanding on my doctoral findings to develop innovative therapeutic strategies for AD. My expertise spans molecular biology, proteomics, and advanced microscopy techniques. My research aims to bridge the gap between basic science and clinical applications in neurodegenerative diseases.
