The University of Queensland, QLD, Australia
Professor Geoff Faulkner is a computational and molecular biologist with interests in single-cell genomics, mobile DNA, cancer and neuroscience. Prof. Faulkner completed a PhD at the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2009, and has since held NHMRC ECF, CDF and SRF fellowships. He was the recipient of a CSL Centenary Fellowship in 2017. Prof Faulkner founded his lab at the University of Edinburgh in 2009, relocating back to UQ in 2012. He now holds a joint appointment between the Mater Research Institute - University of Queensland (MRI-UQ) and the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI). He has published more than 50 research papers (>10,000 citations, h-index 32), including 3 last author studies in Nature and Cell.
