- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Dr Daria Anderson is a Lecturer at the University of Sydney in the School of Biomedical Engineering with research focused on improving neuromodulation for refractory epilepsy. She completed her PhD in Biomedical Engineering and postdoctoral training at the University of Utah, USA, on computational modelling of stimulation and neuromodulation for surgical therapies for epilepsy in human and pre-clinical mouse models. She studies patterns of epilepsy, uses machine learning to discover novel biomarkers and automate seizure detection, and conducts prospective preclinical investigations on using neuromodulation in a disease-modifying approach to restore brain networks back to a seizure-free state.
