Linh Nguyen completed her Master's in 2021 and is currently a PhD candidate at The University of Auckland. Her current research is looking at the effect of encapsulating human brain stem cells in gelatin methacryoloyl (GelMA) hydrogel microspheres for cell transplantation. She is also interested in using GelMA hydrogel as a delivery platform for growth factors to further enhance cell survival and maturation. Her work utilizes biomaterials and cell reprogramming with the ultimate goal of improving the treatment for Huntington's disease.
