Melissa is a PhD student researching white matter changes after mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). She uses blood and diffusion MRI biomarkers to study these changes and examines how resilience and sex influence recovery. Melissa combines her preclinical and clinical research experience to enhance our understanding of brain injury and how we can personalise clinical management strategies and improve patient outcomes.
